Andreas Schotter

A dual German and Canadian citizen, Andreas Schotter is an Associate Professor for International Business and the F.W.P. Faculty Fellow at the Ivey Business School at Western University in Canada. Andreas focuses broadly on subsidiaries-headquarters interfaces in MNEs. His research on managerial decision making in challenging business environments (www.hasslefactor.info) and his work on boundary spanning in global organizations has received numerous recognitions.

His current areas of endeavor include the development of strategies for the era of exponential change, business system disruption, and the internationalization strategies of digital firms. His work has been published in leading academic and practitioner journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, and the MIT Sloan Management Review. In addition to his academic work Andreas collaborates closely with leading multinational corporations from North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
