Collins Ntim is a Professor of Accounting and Deputy Head of School, Southampton Business School, University of Southampton, UK. He has research interest in accounting, finance, governance and development. He has published about 60 articles in internationally recognised journals. Collins has also supervised and examined over 20 and 70 research students to completion, respectively, and received major external funding from bodies, such as the Economic and Social Research Council, UK. He has presented his work at a number of national and international research conferences, seminars and workshops in various countries. Collins is the founding editor of Cogent Accounting, Corporate Governance and Business Ethics (ABS 1*) (Taylor and Francis), and serves on over a dozen editorial boards, as well as regularly reviews on ad hoc basis for several internationally recognised journals, academic conference scientific committees, and appointments/promotion panels. Currently, Collins is guest editing a special issue on ‘Accounting and Development in Africa’ in the Critical Perspectives on Accounting (ABS 3*).
