Kevin Ibeh

Kevin Ibeh is Professor of Marketing and International Business and Pro Vice Master (International) at Birkbeck, University of London, where he recently hosted the 43rd AIB UKI Chapter Conference. Professor Ibeh’s academic and advisory/consulting experience spans over twenty countries and encompasses global brands such as the World Bank, the OECD, among others. His research focuses mainly on the capacity, policy and institutional enablers for non-dominant firms’ uptake of international opportunities. Professor Ibeh is particularly devoted to nascent African MNEs and is considered a leading authority on this firm category, based on his previous and forthcoming scholarly and policy publications on the newer MNEs. Professor Ibeh sits on a number of editorial boards, is Lead Editor of Palgrave Series on Entrepreneurship in Africa, and is currently guest editing three important journal Special Issues. He has authored/edited four books and over 100 articles, including in the JWB, BJM, IBR, JBR, MIR, etc.
