Riki Takeuchi

Riki Takeuchi (Riki.Takeuchi@utdallas.edu) is Jindal School of Management Advisory Council Distinguished Professor in Naveen Jindal School of Management at University of Texas at Dallas. He completed his Ph.D. in Human Resources Management at the University of Maryland, College Park, in December, 2003. He is a recipient of “Distinguished Early Career Contributions Award”, an award for an individual who has made distinguished contributions to the science and/or practice of I-O psychology within seven (7) years of receiving the PhD, from Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology (SIOP) in 2010. He was an Associate Editor for Academy of Management Journal (from July, 2013 to June, 2016). He became a fellow of SIOP in 2018. His research focuses on various social exchange relationships including employee-supervisor, employee-employer, and employee-coworker that exist among organizational stakeholders. As part of his research stream, he is interested in cross-cultural adjustment, strategic human resources management, and organizational citizenship behaviors.
