Xufei Ma is a Professor of Management at the City University of Hong Kong. His current research examines strategy, innovation, and management of multinational and entrepreneurial firms in and from emerging economies. His research has appeared in leading management journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, and Journal of Management. He was the winner of the Haynes Prize for the Most Promising Scholar awarded by Academy of International Business, and the Dunning Visiting Fellow of the John H. Dunning Center for International Business, the University of Reading. Before he joined CityU, he had taught for 11 years at Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he was the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and the Center of International Business Studies. Professor Xufei Ma has served as a Guest Editor for Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, and Asia Pacific Journal of Management. He’s a mentor for HKX and HKSTP start-ups, and a founding member of C50+ Forum.
