Knowledge, Technology and Innovation

Ricarda B Bouncken and Sorin Krammer (Chairs)

The creation, diffusion and uses of new technologies in the form of new products/services, production/management processes, or new business models are the foundations of economic progress and an important feature of both MNEs and domestic firms. This track focuses on the factors determining the creation of new knowledge and technologies as well as their diffusion and the subsequent effects on various aspects of performance. We welcome both studies that focus on MNEs and those that examine domestic firms in a cross-country comparative setting.
